Unfortuanately it was deleted a couple weeks ago. I know its unlikely but just wanted too see if anybody caught that video.
Hmm, weird. I missed that, unfortunately.

All I can find is a snippet from the video's description: "during the World Broadcast of the Game on TBS Superstation. Prevue, which is now TV Guide Channel, spots are part of a ..."
There might actually be something there.

Good news guys, I did some sleuthing and I think I found the video under a different name. I Google searched for "Cable Reel: Big Budget" and found a bit more of the description, linked to the same deleted video: "Robert Malseed's Cable Reel includes image, promotion and select sponsor initiatives from a variety of cable companies with ...". So, since the video was on Vimeo, I searched Vimeo for "Robert Malseed". Four videos appear as the result, including one entitled "Cable Networks" with the following description (matching chunks of description in bold):
Robert Malseed's Cable Reel includes image, promotion, comedy, sports and select sponsor initiatives from a variety of cable companies with budgets ranging from $12,000-$450,000.

Not every element of each project could be posted on this site. The Prevue Redesign had over 100 components and The Game Contest had 32 separate elements, some which ran only during the World Broadcast of the Game on TBS Superstation.

Prevue, which is now The TV Guide Channel, spots are part of a
redesign and rebranding campaign Robert Malseed produced and created with 3 Ring Circus. It won a Silver BDA for Total Package Design.

Robert Malseed shot and directed two image campaigns for The Family Channel. "Accentuate the Positive", with Dr. John doing the music and "Family, There's Nothing Stronger", whose graphics were created with Bozell and Jacobs & 3 Ring Circus. He also wrote, directed and shot the Mattel Open for the Fam Kids Block and other projects like it.
So, it seems that Mr. Malseed is one of the people responsible for the late Prevue campaign.

Nice find! Indeed, that video contains a full-screen, high-quality version of the 1998 Prevue ident we've come to know and love, as well as a cool promo for Prevue Sports at :15 minutes past the hour.

I was doing similar research, and found a few other things.

http://www.mediaslam.com/web/?page=cont&cid=34&id=20 (very funny that the guy who designed the 1998 Prevue graphics was the same as the guy who designed the "This is CBS" package, which I always saw as kinda similar)

I'm going to be contacting a few of these people to see if I can get any more clips of this.

Sorry to bump too, but I found some more videos that were previously on YouTube.

February 24 & March 7, 1990 (part 1):

(part 2):

This last one is short and recorded sometime around 1998:

I remember those clips were previously posted, but somehow got removed before being reposted.

Cool clips... swbrwnskins must have recorded the first two before they got removed, which I think happened a while ago. I've never seen those two. They do appear to be edited though, some sections were just taken out.
The last one I actually have seen before, somewhere. It's too bad that it only shows a short Prevue Family segment, as I really want to see more Prevue 1998/1999 clips. Still, it's a cool video in decent quality.

It seems that he also posted two videos, one of which I've seen before (just a normal Prevue Guide in 1992), and another of an ad being typed into the Amiga, which I have seen before, but it was shorter and in much worse quality. The ad input is obviously automated, since no human really types that way:

Also, he seems to have found a higher quality version of one of the original Prevue IDs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsspodnlJBQ (Edit: this was obviously extracted from one of the clips WeatherSTARIII posted above)

If anyone is interested, I found a few clips of the EPG on my hard drive that I couldn't find on anywhere online. I honestly can't remember where I got them from but they must have been removed. Also oddly enough I found a tape in my basement of what appears to be just random channel surfing, but there is a short clip (about 5 seconds) of Prevue from either 1998 or early 1999 with the Prevue Sports promo image, and unheard interstital music.

Ok here are the two clips.

Once I figure out how to digitize the tape I'll post the short Prevue clip.
