Welcome to the Prevue Guide Forums!

Q1: Can I post a thread?
A1: Yes, but you must register first. Guests will not be able to reply to and/or make new posts.

Q2: What types of content can I post?
A2: You can post anything you'd like, as long as it is not against the rules.
The following items are prohibited (this includes providing direct links to any of the following as well):

- Pirated applications/any sort of copyrighted software with owners who still care about the software's copyright status
- Hate speech in any form
- Extreme profanity, especially in subject lines. If you think it might be profanity, it probably is.
- Spamming - This includes multiple posts that can be considered useless, using the email system to send multiple emails to a member who does not wish to recieve them, using the forum instant messanging system to send multiple messages to a member who does not wish to recieve them, or posting multiple copies of threads.
- Hijacking threads
- Putting the ingredients of a spiderweb
Q3: Is there a Prevue Guide wiki?
A3: But of course! You may find it at http://www.prevueguide.com/.

Q4: What is Prevue?
A4: If you don't know about Prevue Networks, this link has history starting with the EPG until TV Guide Network.

Q5: Where can I find videos of the Prevue Channel?
A5: Many Prevue videos have recently been posted online. Consider searching YouTube using the terms "Prevue Guide," "TV Guide Channel" or "Prevue Channel."

I'm sorry, what? This is not your forum... In fact, you just signed up. I mean, writing an FAQ is fine, but... you don't define the rules of the forum...

Plus most of these are not questions that are "frequently asked."

By the way, AriX, I tried to emulate the TV Guide Channel emulator, in E-UAE (for the Mac and Linux). Still the same options from AriX:
AriX wrote: ROM: "Kickstart v2.04 rev 37.175 (1991)(Commodore)(A500+).rom"
Chip RAM: 1.0MB
Fast RAM: 8.0MB
Slow RAM: 0.5MB
CPU: 68000
Chipset: ECS
Mode: NTSC
Center horizontal: Simple
Center vertical: Simple
DF0: PREVUE.ADF
(NOTE: I am using Hi-Toro to make it)
And when I emulate it, it is very slow for me. WinUAE (for Windows) seems pretty like the real emulator.

Well, I would certainly not recommend emulating an emulator, but when I was setting up my Amiga emulator with Hi-Toro, I found that messing with the OpenGL and related graphics settings helped out a bit. Often they would cause things to start going too fast instead of too slow, but oh well. When I got my new MacBook Pro, which is much faster than my old computer, I found that everything worked pretty much perfectly no matter what settings I used.
