Everyone,

I wanted to let you know that I am starting to document my researched findings in the Prevue Wiki. Right now it is a work in progress, so if you happen to see it, it looks kind of messy. I am not used to using a forum or wiki like this to post information, so any suggestions or help would be greatful. But, the information is quite useful and I have more stuff to add to this.

I was using the folder on my physical hard disk as DH0 rather than DH2, so I substituted as such in the startup sequence. (actually, I have an 8 meg CompactFlash card I am using as the drive, since I can't find anything else useful to do with it. lol). Does the folder have to be on the hard disk, or can it be on an external like I have? I am also wondering if it has to be assigned as DH2 rather than DH0 like I had it set as (since that is what corresponds to the drive I copied the Prevue files over to). The Workbench hard disk image I have is DH1, but I have its boot priority over DH0 (Prevue) unless I plan on booting from the Prevue drive.

One other question I was wondering... what software was used to write the IFF images that were posted earlier on in the forums? I can read IFFs (Irfanview) but nothing I have at the moment can save as an IFF. If I got the Prevue software to finally boot entirely from the mounted HD as well as save to it, I hope to create some more images to replace the other TV Guide images with Prevue stuff.

It's more to do with the DF0: assign (notice the F) because some of the prevue code still writes directly to the floppy drive, rather than the prevue: assign.

For IFFs, I have used PPaint on the emulated amiga!

Was this just a random curday.dat thrown together from scratch or are you experimenting with the DREV settings? It looks like it is behaving the same way when I was working with the DREVs here viewtopic.php?f=5&t=292

What kind of OS have you got going there??

Arch Linux with FVWM as the window manager, but I use FVWM as a secondary window manager. xmonad is my main window manager. I also use Ratpoison and StumpWM.

@20CenturyFan: I wrote this curday.dat file manually with a hex editor.
