Aha, and that's a paragon cable local insert, so I still wonder.Bolt96 wrote: The only video I've seen with "Straight Ahead" is at the beginning of this video. And I think a wiki page for the music is a great idea, Ari!

Re: Prevue Channel Music
Well, it appeared that while Straight Ahead was running, the Prevue Channel was not displaying ads, but instead previews - the Amiga must have somehow missed the command to go to local ad mode, or the command to overlay one of the previews. I'm pretty sure, given that the Paragon inserts were not running while Straight Ahead was playing, that this was sourced from Prevue itself and not Paragon Cable.tin wrote:Aha, and that's a paragon cable local insert, so I still wonder.Bolt96 wrote: The only video I've seen with "Straight Ahead" is at the beginning of this video. Long time no see, Prevue Guide Forums
Anyone ever seen that channel PrevueChannelMusic on YouTube? Well, I've uploaded one of my favorite songs from the Prevue Channel on YouTube (also used in some Price Chopper radio commercials in New York state, last I remember)...

Anyone want to try to ID this track? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anVEWzo0 ... r_embedded
If you do recognize it, you'll probably only recognize the last little bit. If you just can't figure it out, click here.

I just did so: http://prevueguide.com/index.php/Prevue_MusicAriX wrote:[...]
UPDATE: Just an idea. Maybe we could make a wiki page (http://prevueguide.com/) documenting all of this music? (and, if possible, links)
In the next few days, I'm finally going to implement some spam protection on the wiki...

Re: Prevue Channel Music
There were three tracks that aired during December, 1997 on the Prevue Channel (The other one has yet to be found), that I've found from "Killer Tracks" website. One was "Catalina" and the other two were "Melrose Moonlighters" and "Metropop" (KT76). Their was also another track "Dreamer" that was heard later on, possibly in January, 1998.
Re: Prevue Channel Music
the weather channel had those in 1999. Comcast Kept Cutting to Local Commercials on those songs when Prevue had ads for Pay-Per-View. i would also like to add these. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=284joseph_sobora wrote:There were three tracks that aired during December, 1997 on the Prevue Channel (The other one has yet to be found), that I've found from "Killer Tracks" website. Excuse the necromancy, but Universal Production Music and FirstCom recently announced a merger.
