This combines some elements of the Prevue Guides of old... The font and the music... If only Prevue Guide Forums (http://www.ariweinstein.com/prevue), Prevue Guide Wiki (http://www.prevueguide.com) and Taiga Forums WS4000 (http://www.taiganet.com/forum) could and would combine their resources and create a Prevue Guide simulator designed similarly to the WS4000 Simulator... I'm posting this for comments, opinions and reactions from other members...

Re: PowerPointWX
I mentioned in the other thread but worth repeating here for anyone that searches. These forums and the wiki go together, they are both run by AriX, and the WS4000 is obviously much more about the weatherstar, but it certainly might be worth having a think about what might be useful to work on collaboratively. I have thought about making my prevue guide simulator - which tries to be as faithful to the blue grid look as possible - a more hi-def version. But there's been precious little time so likely not yet. The source is out there though if anyone wants to have a go

Re: PowerPointWX
if you want to, you can try and make a simulation (or recreation) of the Prevue Guide in PowerPoint.CPLANAS1985 wrote:It's the best I can do at this point... I suck at the Atari and Amiga emulations...

Re: PowerPointWX
If I only knew how to insert real-time data without having to go back-and-forth between programs and windows... IOW, RSS and/or XML-like data inserts or something like that!!! You perhaps have a better idea of what I'm talking about than I myself...PajamaDarkness wrote:if you want to, you can try and make a simulation (or recreation) of the Prevue Guide in PowerPoint.CPLANAS1985 wrote:It's the best I can do at this point...
