Prevue Guide: April 18, 1993:

This must have been a couple days before Prevue switched to the Blue Program Grid from Commodore Amiga. Or in some cases, few Cable Systems would still used the previous EPG during April. Most services already have the grid available!

I just found another example.

Also, here is an early 2001 yellow-grid recording from Cox Communications in or near Groton, CT (Providence, RI–New Bedford, MA stations are listed): 2001: 90+ Minutes of the TVGuide Channel (February)

[Sat Jul 03 01:41:12 PDT 2021] Update: I just found an early 2002 recording (Charter in or near Charleston, WV) with just a logo slide (o_O): TV Guide Channel (February 14, 2002)

Apparently that's not the only instance. I left a comment on that video not too long ago and somebody replied with their recollection of "sometimes at nights I remember seeing just a TV Guide logo, and later at night were infomercials up there ..."

Unrelated, but the logo slide also reminds me of the Hollywood (TVGC/N software) running in 'software mode', where there's just a "TV Guide" logo instead of programming. I wonder if the hardware side of things was able to handle this too? If not, could this be classified as a national technical difficulty moment? :?:

Two few brief new finds.

1. At 1:14 in this video, you can see a brief animation for "Screen TV", which was planned to be the next generation of Sneak Prevue. Screen TV was based on the Hollywood platform but the product was ultimately cancelled in early 2000 and Sneak Prevue continued to run until it was shut down in 2002.

2. This video includes several audio excerpts of the Prevue Channel from 1998/1999, featuring Joe Paulino, who was the voice of the Prevue Channel at the time.
