I already knew that, but I never bothered to try it. Also, it appears to have been in early 1994 or so that the listings became mixed-case, Also, there is a (brief) video at YouTube of EPG Sr from 1995 that displays mixed-case listings.

Re: Curday.dat not reading?

I am normally a Vim user (I am composing this post with gVim), but I usually use Emacs (M-x hexl-mode) as a hex editor. I used to use biew/beye, though.

Re: Curday.dat Data Format

I noticed that aswell, and found it interesting... o_O

I think it probably changed circa 1996, when "Summary of %s on channel %d" (channel display name, channel display number) became "Summary of %s channel %d" (channel display name, channel display number).

Re: Curday.dat Data Format

IIRC, Glens Falls didn't get the gold grid until March 2000... maybe one of the last to switch? Albany got it several months before them... [...] I just found this, but apparently TCI Cablevision of Tulsa got the yellow grid in November 1999: http://www.tulsaworld.com/site/articlepath.aspx?articlei...
