Scroll Pause-start
Has anyone figured out how to get the Amiga Prevue grid to scroll and pause like in the video below? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3aDGGSb-cs&feature=related I am sure it may take a while to get a response, since I know everyone is busy. I don't think I have seen anyone bring up how to do it y...

Re: where did everybody go?
(Breaks the silence 8-) ) While I am working and in college, I thought I would also mention that I made progress on my "realistic" emulation of Prevue. Check out the youtube video below that i just posted. Sorry for the crappy sound... I recorded this from my TV with my cellphone. I know ...

Simulated Video on the Top Half of the Screen
I have been carrying out an interesting experiment in the last few days that has enabled me to make the Prevue program "look" like it is producing video on the top half of the screen. I thought I would share this and see what everyone thought... While we may be manipulating the software it...

Re: TV Station Simulator version 2 will be here later!!!
I joined the forum when I learned that there were others out there with the common interest of figuring out what made one of my most remembered past times "tick". I tend to just experiment with things on my free time here (much like everyone else, I assume), and even though I was a fan of ...

Re: Just for giggles :) Prevue Guide now emulated!
I'd hate to bump an old thread, but I have something interesting that I just put together. I took a screen shot of the 1994 "Prevue Channel" banner logo from Youtube, reduced the colors, hand touched it in paint, saved it as PNG, and used a program called XnView to convert it to IFF for Wi...

Re: Curday.dat Data Format
xvi32 is a good editor for raw hex on windows, and for the hard drive problem, check you have the assign DF0: lines in correctly... I will have to give XVI32 a try. Thx for the suggestion! :) I was using the folder on my physical hard disk as DH0 rather than DH2, so I substituted as such in the sta...

Re: Curday.dat Data Format
Being that I always have a tendency to do things the hard way, I actually have been using the "edit.com" program that comes with Windows and editing as binary the curday.dat. After a little bit of trial and error, I have successfully removed a few channels from the middle as an experiment,...
