Re: Amiga disassembly
I attempted to do this with my setup (VSPE + Com Port Data Emulator) and could not get my overlays to show up. However, I notice that pressing "L" sends a 0x01 back to my serial, an "R" sends an 0x02 back to my serial, and "G" sends an 0x03 back to my serial (and G work...

Re: Making Sneak Prevue on Movie Maker
First of all I would like to point out that most videos that originated from youtube are at a 284 x 122 resolution, while ones I custom made are usually found at 480 x 160 (I use KMPlayer, which adjusts the video to the size of the video window, which I in turn adjusted to cover the entire top half,...

Re: Making Sneak Prevue on Movie Maker
Maybe I can upload my whole contraption (like 475 videos and 44 songs) into a single ZIP file and upload them to you... if you can give me a website I can upload it to and you can download it (since Megaupload is gone). Just to let you know that the previews are going to have the wrong showing times...

Re: Curday.dat Data Format
That is just awesome, AriX! I wish I had room for all that hardware... but space limitations restrict me to emulating everything on a single Windows 7 based PC Not sure it would be possible to get listings for my cable company for either program without a setup similar to yours. lol

Re: Making Sneak Prevue on Movie Maker
I'm sure if you guys do some searching on your favored search engine, you will find programs that will help you to emulate the platform you desire (in your case, Sneak Prevue). When I was looking to add an overlay to my running Prevue Channel image in WinUAE, I did searches, for "borderless med...

Re: New youtube videos
I just posted what I believe is my only actual Prevue Channel clip to survive into the 2000s. The quality sucks (the majority of it was recorded in EP, and I have no direct means of playing video into my PC), but I figured that I would sooner or later upload it as it is. (it is comparable to BeeRigh...

Re: New youtube videos
I noticed something interesting at the 14:45 mark of part 1 of that video. The description shows "Forrest Gump" while the video playing is from a completely different movie (The Nosferatu Diaries: Embrace of the Vampire). However, later on when Forrest Gump shows up a second time, it is th...

Re: Curday.dat file
I am not quite sure... I couldn't figure it out when I gave it a shot but I do recall reading something about scraping listings from a MythTV install (which I never figured out either). The way it is set up, however, is probably going to vary from person to person, depending on your location.

Re: Pay-Per-View
That is funny that "Sneak Prevue" made its way to Comcast's website... my question is where has it been all this time? lol
