[Download] Prevue Software 7.3.13 (+assets)

Hi everyone, At long last, we have a new version of the Prevue software. This is version 7.3.13, for Prevue 1000 (a low-end version of Prevue that ran on Amiga 1000). Note that like 7.8.3, the software is not Y2k-compliant. Unlike 7.8.3, we have a full disk, including assets/logos! http://prevueguid...

[Download] Hollywood "Yellow Guide" software

Hey all - recently got my hands on a copy of the original Yellow Guide Hollywood software from 2000. Haven't gotten to actually install or try it yet, but excited to share. I made a new wiki page to collect Hollywood installer binaries - feel free to add more: https://prevueguide.com/wiki/Hollywood_...

Re: [Download] Atari800 builds for EPG Jr

Note: it seems the Atari sometimes crashes when you send it all of the program data. I need to figure out why this is - we may be sending too much data, or sending descriptions that are too long or contain special characters that throw it off. Relevant discussions are on Discord, here: https://disco...

[Download] Atari800 builds for EPG Jr

Hi all, We've had copies of the Atari software for EPG Jr for many years, but it's been difficult to get them running with listings data, because the popular Atari emulation software doesn't provide a clear way to input raw serial data. I'm happy to share that I have written patches for Atari800 tha...

PrevueCLI is back... and open-source

Hi everyone,

I am excited to share that I am now able to resume development of PrevueCLI, and that it's now open-source.

The source code can be found here on GitHub, under a BSD license: https://github.com/AriX/PrevueCLI

Look out for a new version that adds serial support for Windows!

Re: [Download] Sneak Prevue LaserDiscs

Happy to share two new LaserDisc uploads today! One is a re-upload, in higher quality (hopefully) of the 2/95b LaserDisc, and the other is a never-before-seen 6-98b LaserDisc. Downloads are here: https://prevueguide.com/wiki/LaserDiscs Note, there appear to be some interlacing artifacts... I may hav...

TV Guide changes hands again

News on TV Guide corporate ownership... and even a mention of Prevue in the article! https://www.axios.com/2022/10/04/tv-guide-media-hot-potato Notably, this part of TV Guide is the part that is least relevant to us (the more relevant parts are the IPG and data business under Rovi/TiVo/Xperi, and th...

Re: [Download] Sneak Prevue LaserDiscs

Exciting news! I am resuming the process of capturing and uploading these LaserDiscs. I am working on a new directory of them which will be located here: https://prevueguide.com/wiki/LaserDiscs AND, I have a new LaserDisc to share, from July of 1992 - older than any I'd seen before! Enjoy. IMG_0875....
