Re: Prevue Channel System Disk
Hot damn. A copy of this finally got dumped? Bad-ass. Too bad it wasn't the earlier software, prior to the blue grid. Still, bad-ass. I wonder how well the software would run on my A2000 (non-Prevue). It has a SuperGen 2000S genlock in it, but it's not properly working. It can output Amiga graphics...

TV Guide Channel Emulation Working!
Hey all, I have some very exciting news... Thanks to forum user rudyvalencia, I have been able to boot the TV Guide Channel (from the floppy disk image discussed in the "Prevue Channel System Disk" topic) fully in E-UAE, an Amiga Emulator, and... it works! No video in the top, but the list...

WOW, OK. Here's an update: "We have allot of the channel guide computers. probably 50-60 of them. I'm not even sure which company the are from. We have about 2000 channels of SMATV headend we are trying to liquidate.... give me a call" 50-60? Damn. Let's hope these are are Prevue/TV Guide...

Software Hunt
Not going as well as I had hoped. Just got a message back from an ex-UVSG employee saying that although he did find some Prevue Guide floppies, he had formatted ALL of them at one point or another to use them for storage (DAMMIT :p), and the other ones haven't gotten back to me... Anyone think they ...

Re: EPG/Prevue Guide Videos
Heh, thanks for all the compliments. Yes, the first AmigaDOS screen was entirely a mock-up using an Amiga font clone . The rest (OS background, its mouse pointer, the channel changing snow and sound effect toward the end) was just winged in Photoshop and CoolEdit. Ah, cool. Where'd you get ...

Re: Atari EPG jr reverse engineer
Hmm. So how would I put that into the monitor? I guess I just dont get it I guess when I looked back at previous pages lol. So, did you get somewhere with modes C and P? Or are those still a mystery? Huh? How do you put what in the monitor? What he was last posting about? You don't need to worry ab...

Re: Forum GMT Time location
I noticed the time is screwed upto GMT 0 -/+. You should adjust it to GMT -5 (EDT) or -4 (CDT) The forum time itself is correct. You didn't fill out your time zone when you signed up, I assume. Go to User Control Panel at the top of the page, press the Board Preferences tab there, and change it to ...

Re: Atari EPG jr reverse engineer
I'm not massively clear on the data format as yet...but here are some things I do know. First bit is 55 AA (some training) 41 (come code that means start I think) 2A (a * which means all EPGS perform this command - all or part of the serial number can go here for individual addressing of each or gr...
