Re: Alternate CC logo
I noticed that too. It is odd it changed from the "CC" logo to text based. I also noticed that in the 90s at the start of a show it was the "CC" logo then it changed to the text based type logo.

Re: Prevue Interactive Reverse Engineering
I am just wondering if there is an Operating System that Prevue Interactive (now TV Guide i-Guide), runs on. There is or was another Interactive Guide called MOXI (by Diego now called Arris), that runs on a form of Linux. With the MOXI software and the OS lived on the 80 GB hard drive in which made ...

Re: Prevue Interactive Reverse Engineering
You're welcome. I think everybody knows about the power off>menu feature. On my Cable System we have 3 ways for accessing On Demand content On Demand button, typing in the On Demand channel or selecting the On Demand icon for select shows and movies. Back in 2000 I had the tan TV Guide Interactive a...

Re: Prevue Interactive Reverse Engineering
AriX, Quite interesting read on what the Interactive Guide is like. Over on the AVS Forum there is a thread on the Motorola DCX boxes and the majority of the thread is about the software issues. Time Warner, Cox and my Cable Company (Charter) updates their boxes whenever there may be a new release. ...

Prevue/Sneak Prevue Software & Amiga 2500
Does anybody know if the Prevue/Sneak Prevue software would work on the Amiga 2500 (both emulation and Amiga 2500 computer)? I found some Amiga 2500's on eBay.

Re: Prevue Icons
AriX,
The folder icons are sweet. Mixing late 20th century tech with 21st century tech. Now, just need a way to create an iOS app for Prevue Guide and Sneak Prevue.

Print Guides (mainly TV Host)
Does anybody remember the print guides mainly TV Host? Every time I was in my local Charter Communications (formerly Cable Michigan) office I'd always bought the next months TV Host. I think in early 2000 TV Guide bought it and became a customized TV Guide for Cable Systems to sell to their subscrib...

Re: Action Pay-Per-View
In the few National Guide Listings (not TV Guide), I bought in the PPV part of the listings it would have both Action PPV and iN DEMAND. The guide would list the entire month. Not sure if you noticed that iN DEMAND at one point renamed iND33 and iND34 to Cinema iN DEMAND and Urban iN DEMAND.
