UV Ads idea.

Discuss the reverse engineering and emulation (as opposed to simulation) of any sort of Prevue hardware, including Atari-based and Amiga-based EPG channels and the Amiga-based Prevue/TV Guide channels.

UV Ads idea.

Post by kwest93 »

I have an idea on UV ads. since they are easy to edit, i might be able to create modern day ads including ads to TV Shows like The Following on FOX.

would that be nice?

Aye would be a good idea, I did some a while back (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSwIHoFaAfQ - Freeview+, Sky sports, Xfactor, ) and I was quite impressed on how good they looked considering they're only in 16 colours! Especially the Sky sports one, how the grass still looks like grass I dunno.

Also makes me wonder why some of the ads done back in the day (like the Season's greetings one here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AM8ZW1IxKeM and they tyson one here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0P1CFTIZWIQ) are so awful.

That said you have to utterly love the prevue one here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeolMiEP1Yk because it uses a cycling colour palette and looks really good in how many ever colours it happens to be (16 hires or 32 lores I think is the max the software allows).

oh, and of course the ones that came with AriX's original disk with the TV guide channel branding are very good too.
