"tan guide" - kinda interesting

Tripped across a thread on the old interactive tan guide still on a box in 2015, and apparently still working. A remnant of Prevue I guess!

I dunno, I signed up to discord and it was a bit of a pain. I signed up to slack and it wasn't. Certainly not complicated.

Very randomly this just came back up. Harry McCracken posted a couple of cable TV VCR captures that show the old-school info channels running on Texscan hardware. that's not an executable as it's saying, that's an LHA archive (like .zip in modern times).

maybe see if section enhancement 3 over here viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1873 helps get around it.

When the workbench drawer is open, try holding Right Mouse, go to the Window menu, then select "clean up". See if it appears.
