Re: New youtube videos
An EPG recording from 1983: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRM-tRFhZ4w Remember this video, which I’m pretty sure is from an Apple II version? Found another existing video of the same version. https://youtu.be/URd5CgIxbrQ Saw a post over on AtariAge from a guy who says he programmed this version.

I'll keep an eye on that post, they posted it about 11 days ago, so I expect them to come back at any time and edit their sig to put ads in it. It's a spammer, and as soon as they do I will remove the sig.

Re: Johnson And Friends Theme Edd Kalehoff Cover
It was a spammer, with ad links in their sig. That's why I deleted the post from reube123tin wrote:well i suppose this *IS* the off-topic board
Sup guys
It's been a while. Been busy with random stuff. Noticed that I still had the mod powers that AriX gave me when he went away for a little bit, and since I see a few spammers posts (even in some old threads), I figured I'd take it upon myself to clean some of it up a little bit. AriX, if you would lik...

Re: Prevue fonts
"Jeff Bruette" Ok, so I never called him because lol social anxiety. Anyway, I was looking around and happened to find a video entitled "Professional Techniques for Deluxe Paint III" on YouTube, and I'll be damned if the host/narrator/whatever didn't say his name was "Jeff ...

Re: how do i fix Movie and TV Ratings?
I know from experience (at least from what I have seen) that my logos will not work unless they are on the ADF. It does not matter if they are compressed or not (I never compressed mine) That part should be obvious to anyone with some Amiga experience, lol. The tool that decompresses the images on-...

Re: A new radio station simulator
I love how they call them radio and TV station "simulators" even though the basic requirements for such a program to be reliable are essentially a full automation setup. Such a program would be interesting to see, however, as if one were made of sufficient quality and robustness, it would ...

Re: New youtube videos
Found a very interesting clip here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeolMiEP1Yk Seems to be the format of Prevue Guide matched up to the look of the Prevue Channel. Huh, that's fascinating. This may sound like a long shot, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility that this was a software bug. It is c...

Re: A data file for Prevue Networks, Inc.
Never tested it for actual captioning, but I'm pretty sure the Amiga itself can easily generate image data for line 21. The genlock hardware should have nothing to do with it - it would require no more than a 2-bitplane screen for that scanline, and one could easily switch between C-band captions or...

Re: Amiga disassembly
Ari, I must admire your work in assembly hacking of a program coded in C, that can't be easy. Too bad noone with high ASM knowledge in the Sonic scene has much interest in Prevue, as there are quite a few people with high skills in general reverse engineering as well as specific 68000 knowledge (onl...
