Re: [Download] Sneak Prevue Software
Tried it on my real Amiga and it fired right up! Now it sits on the "Stand by" screen (unless I go into the diagnostics menu). Probably need to get it some data.

[Release] Sneak Prevue Manual
I got my hands on something exciting recently: a copy of the Sneak Prevue Installation and Operating Guide from July 1995. Happy to be able to share it today. The manual includes a lot of great information about Sneak Prevue, including terminology, the hardware and setup process, and a preview of th...

Re: [Download] Sneak Prevue Software
I know very little about hardware emulation, but I wonder if this could be useful? https://github.com/mamedev/mame/blob/bf4f1beaa2cd03b4362e52599ddcf4c4a9c32f13/src/emu/bus/amiga/zorro/a2232.c Also, wanted to note as mentioned on Discord: I believe "vd" (the name of the Sneak Prevue binary...

Re: [Download] Sneak Prevue Software
I think we've referenced this page before, but somehow I missed the link... Check it out!

And select "Download Diagrams of Operation, JPG (English)"
Some neat info (also attached for posterity)!

Re: [Download] Sneak Prevue Software
I guess I'll have to hook back up to my Amiga and see if it's possible to get a good dump of sts. However, my guess is that it's a separate mechanism and isn't necessary for operation of the Sneak Prevue software. I think we should at least try to make progress on the LaserDisc player connection and...

Re: [Download] Sneak Prevue Software
Would you be able to share your patched .adf when you get a chance? I haven't been able to make one, as the tools I'm using are just freaking out about the corrupt files. Sure. Here you go . For anyone wishing to boot this, make a backup copy , as I did see WinUAE's drive access light flash red a c...

Re: [Download] Sneak Prevue Software
LocalH, this is awesome!! Great detective work and analysis! The font failure seems like a very strong lead! Given that sts seems to be a dial-up system as you mentioned, I'm hopeful that it's not required to get this going. Would you be able to share your patched .adf when you get a chance? I haven...

Re: New youtube videos
I don't think this has been posted yet, but here's a TV Guide Channel branding package video, which is fun: https://vimeo.com/55695821
Also, this was posted a long time ago on a different thread, but here's a look at the late '90s Prevue package: https://vimeo.com/20022094

Re: [Download] Sneak Prevue Software
OK, I think I got the vd binary decompressed (I just had to load the PowerPacker 4.0 software on an Amiga and fiddle with it for a minute). Check it out! http://prevueguide.com/Amiga/SneakPrevue-vd-decompressed Lots of interesting strings in the binary! DF1:SearchErr.config ::/::/ %c%s Sneak Prevue ...
