Atari EPG jr videos in the wild.

Myself and AriX think these are possibly the only two EPG jr videos seen in youtube-land. The first is refered to reasonably often as an example of a jr - the second I had not seen until today. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3j89RFN3qps http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xcb45f_houston-cable-guide-avc...

Re: Prevue guide music

Well they deffo had a machine at the centre that provided the c-band listings, and they could have as easily recorded a .mod to tape for broadcast as they could any other music source. Just a theory. How do you think they got 3 audio sources to the boxes at the cable co? That's one bit of the whole ...

Re: EPG/Prevue Guide Videos

"The Saddest Prevue Guide That Ever Lived" (West Covina, CA - Mar 15, 1992) http://www.vimeo.com/11793680 I'm intrigued, how did you get the first AmigaDOS screen, is it just entirely a mockup? It's a nicely edited video BTW, nice music synchronisation with cablevision's dodgy version! I ...

Re: EPG/Prevue Guide Videos

An alternative way of pinching youtube videos is http://keepvid.com/ - drag the button at the top of your screen to your bookmarks toolbar and just click the link when you want to nick the video. I have been using this method for some time ;)

Re: Atari EPG jr reverse engineer

did you paste it in or manually type? I find in atari800win plus I can't paste, so I type and ALWAYS make a typo.

In fact I just tried typing it in, and it works :)

Re: Atari EPG jr reverse engineer

Nono, only one revision of the ROM itself was posted, but it was posted in like 3 or 4 different forms (one as some sort of disk image, one as left and right binaries, one as an entire 16kb ROM, then maybe another like that). Try resetting the memory location to 3800 instead. Hmm... even resetting ...
