Later Version of Prevue and TVGC that scrolls down
I remembered something about the later versions of Prevue Channel and TVGC for Amiga that may be interesting to find out. At the 1:48 mark in the video from YT below http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-pBiMD9aCY Something interesting happens to the grid. The grid shrinks down to two listings, instead o...

Re: Curday.dat Data Format
Hi there, I happen to notice something about the listings that were downloaded originally to the Prevue file. According to the Wiki, the listings are showing the date of April 1, 1999. I believe that the person who distributed the file edited the curday.dat file (either intentionally or by accident)...

Re: LISTINGS!
Hi Steven, I'm really sorry I haven't had time to document these commands more in-depth. I've been really busy for the past few weeks, with little time to work on this stuff. Julian days after 255 just start over... so day 256 should be represented as day 00 or 01 (I don't remember which). For extr...

Re: LISTINGS!
Good news: I figured out how to get the EPG Jr. software to register up to 64 channels (which seems to be its built-in limit) with almost no problem whatsoever. I also figured out how to get it to highlight channels like we can do on the Amiga software. The Amiga software seems to only allow up to ...

Re: LISTINGS!
Anywho. Any help for my enfeebled brain on setting that clock? ;) You can have WinUAE to syncronize with the system clock on the host machine by selecting the Miscellaneous tab in WinUAE Settings screen and then checkmark the box next to the Synchronize clock. By default, this is not set. Hope this...

Re: LISTINGS!
I am having some trouble with setting the checksums correctly. Where are the checksums located in the data lines specifically. Do they change pending on how much data is used or what day they are set up for? I read the instructions you have provided on finding the checksums and I have them written d...

Re: LISTINGS!
I want to try feeding it some Glens Falls listings eventually once this is released... however, I'm not sure on how I'd go about doing it on Windows =/ I'm sure we'll figure out a way. I'm not sure exactly how to get serial input into Windows emulators, although from what I hear, it should be easie...

Re: TV Guide Discontinuing EPG?
In our area, Charter ditched the program listings from our TV guide channel and moved it to digital only status back at the beginning of July. Our only program listings is on our Cable Converter.
I miss the listings though. If you have the listings still, be thankful.
Steven.
