Re: Stay tuned... there are more Prevues to come.

any more developments? That's what I'm waiting for too. https://a.pomf.cat/qakqrz.png Sorry all - I've been so busy and haven't had a chance to dump these floppies yet. A couple of months ago I finally figured out how to do it but now I need to actually get it all dumped. I'll try to prioritize thi...

Re: Prevue Interactive Reverse Engineering

Some neat Prevue Interactive/TV Guid Interactive clips I stumbled on: https://archive.org/details/CustomerInstructional https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_CaSlVB_K8&app=desktop The TV Guide Interactive one clearly uses parts of the graphics package from the original TV Guide Channel in 1999. Also...

Re: Since when did Pop still have scrolling listings?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quN376aEI5Y Here is a recently-uploaded YouTube video, courtesy of ehatt600, that shows another still-in-use scrolling listings grid which uses the TV Guide Network-era graphics. It is found on FPB Cable channel 2 in Frankfort, KY, presented in full-screen, and the a...

Re: This is sorta interesting? (hardware/ebay)

Super interesting! I wonder if this and other hardware is becoming easier to find since some of the TV Guide units have probably been decommissioned and thrown away since the grid was removed from the channel (in some places). Wonder if it's worth asking the seller if they have/had any other TV Guid...

Re: Since when did Pop still have scrolling listings?

They do that for cable companys, that do not have a Interactive Guide for there service. If you go to a Sleep Inn in St. Augustine, Florida, and they have Xfinity, the Pop channel will have a guide. I think the one there still has TVGN Branding. It actually does use the "TV Guide Network"...

Re: Interesting Tidbits

Sorry for bumping, but I have some sad news to talk about: recently, I looked on Google Streetview for TV Guide's headquarters in Tulsa, OK, and the Streetview captures had been updated just last December, and it appears that the former Prevue/TV Guide headquarters at 7140 S. Lewis Ave. is no more....
