Re: Prevue Guide 1988 Music Original Source/High Quality

Hey SamsungAsus :) as others have commented here, the music is not part of the software - even though it sounded like it might have been for the original music they used in the Prevue list era. The music was sent over one of several audio subcarriers on the satellite, and the Amiga was fitted with h...

Re: TiVo teasing Prevue on its careers website

Hmmm... really 1981? that's interesting.

The screenshot of course is a grab of a video from youtube, from 1987... but it's still very cool they introduced their heritage on their site.

Re: A step by step video of setting up Prevue Guide Emulator

Sorry man this is probably never going to happen. We don't get enough time to crack on with what we'd like to do with PG, never mind creating videos. I did a guide a while back here: http://ariweinstein.com/prevue/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1873 - take a look and see if you can follow it along from scr...

Re: SPAMMAGE

No sweat. I update them when I find out we've been spammed - the questions are a bit rubbish but I can't think of anything more creative that a bot couldn't work out quick - but they clearly have humans answering them, and then they're stuck in a database or something and many dodgy registrations fo...

Re: Add Channel Lineups from Cable/Satellite Provider

Hi man. sorry to say it's gonna be a long road of following some of the information posted on here for you then. While it's nice to see people getting involved and being active on the forum, getting it all spun up and working is quite a feat, and getting the information out of your cable company and...

Probably that drawer does not exist then! You will need to check your installation.

Re: SPAMMAGE

What seems to happen is the world of spammers at large have a few humans gaming the spambot measures, and as soon as they do, the answer(s?) are stored somewhere and the automated botnet stuff starts. That's why we're left alone for months, then suddenly there's an inrush of new accounts. PITA and a...

Re: Setting up the Prevue Channel Listings Sender

@grumpz if you happen to revisit this page to see what's going on, apologies from me I dealt with some spam in a particularly heavy-handed manner and your account was collateral damage. My apologies, I didn't spot anything legit in a sea of bot accounts. From what I can see I don't think there's any...

SPAMMAGE

Sorry for the spammage and the slow response to it. I think the board index is catching up with my mass deletions :)
