Re: Prevue fonts

Very nice. Thank you for posting. Indeed! Ty ever so much! Nice Job and good work, Rudy. Thanks! :) You're certainly welcome! I plan to use this font for an upcoming project I'm working on - a Web site that we can use as a community to make our own channel lineups and listings, and use those as the...

PrevueC font v2.0 release!

Attention everyone! Version 2.0 of PrevueC is here! Contains every symbol in the "PrevueC" Amiga font, as close as I can get to replicating them - some of them I had to rely on EPSes and PDFs to recreate. But now it contains the icons and logos all in the correct order and everything! Dow...

Re: Progress

I've already been working on some PHP-based code to generate "C" and "P" listings, but it's still rather rudimentary. Hopefully, I can expand it to allow for more than just basic channels and programs without flags. So far though, it's been interesting. I figured out how to outpu...

Re: The "1986 Warner Cable Channel Lineup" video

Another vid off a texscan. Possibly the same one? This gives it away more, look at the scroll across the bottom and how it obviously uses the same char to turn flashing on and off, so different bits flash as it scrolls :) (as can be seen in for example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iWZVDG86N4) I ...

Re: The "1986 Warner Cable Channel Lineup" video

WOW looks like you have a good spot there. Looking again, I see in particular, the shape of the "A" and that the top title bar are the same blue as the listings, in Atari EPG they are lighter. Furthermore the blocks either side of the time in the listing are striped like the EPG Sr, and u...

The "1986 Warner Cable Channel Lineup" video

I think the "1986 Warner Cable Channel Lineup" video is not of an EPG Jr. It looks more like one of the earlier EPG units that was based on Texscan hardware to me. If you look carefully at the shape of the letters, they don't look like the EPG Jr.'s letters, and the color bars above/below ...

I'm trying to make an H26f lookalike but it doesn't come out too good.

Re: Prevue fonts

Version 1.3 of the PrevueC font is released. Fixes the incorrect period in prior versions. Also includes some new international support. Edit: Superseded by v2.0, see 1/14 post. Windows XP and earlier users: remove the old version before installing this one. Windows Vista and later will automaticall...

Prevue fonts

My version 1.0 of PrevueC had some mistakes in encoding, so some of you weren't able to access certain parts of the font. I am releasing a version 1.2 to correct those flaws. It is attached to this post. Please remove the version 1.0 if you have it installed. Edit: Superseded by v2.0, with correct e...

Prevue fonts

As AriX mentioned in a previous post, I've been working on a Truetype version of the "PrevueC" font that was originally bitmapped. It is now finished and ready for release. You can download it below. This font contains most of the symbols found in the bitmap font; some are logos and I did ...
