Re: LISTINGS!

I am having some trouble with setting the checksums correctly. Where are the checksums located in the data lines specifically. Do they change pending on how much data is used or what day they are set up for? I read the instructions you have provided on finding the checksums and I have them written d...

Re: LISTINGS!

I want to try feeding it some Glens Falls listings eventually once this is released... however, I'm not sure on how I'd go about doing it on Windows =/ I'm sure we'll figure out a way. I'm not sure exactly how to get serial input into Windows emulators, although from what I hear, it should be easie...

Re: TV Guide Discontinuing EPG?

In our area, Charter ditched the program listings from our TV guide channel and moved it to digital only status back at the beginning of July. Our only program listings is on our Cable Converter.

I miss the listings though. If you have the listings still, be thankful.

Re: Gradient.txt

I know this doesn't have anything to do with the project, but in my opinon, I think the black actually looked better for the listings.

BTW...thanks for getting rid of that spammer earlier today.

Re: Amiga Serial Commands

i apologize for being vague on my last post. I guess I was too happy that I was able to get something to work.... Anyway, I will try to clarify: What I was meaning to say is that the command to display the background, channel, date/time, and channel number of the promos at the top of the screen come...

Re: Amiga Serial Commands

I was able to play around with this software a little more. You can use the software without using a VBI by setting up a COM port emulator. I found two pieces of software that so far have worked on my Win 7 machine that you may be interested in trying, The first is called VSPE - (Virtual Serial Port...

Re: Prevue Guide and sports overflows?

I may have a few answers to these questions. First of all, the use of Prevue Guide for Sports overflow feeds. In some areas and districts, cable companies are forced to have a local access channel / PEG channel as part of their agreement to the county/parish/city that they service. In those agreemen...
